Privacy Policy
Eki is built so the developer never sees your data. This policy is short because there is very little to disclose: Eki has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party SDKs that transmit data, and the developer operates no servers that receive your information. That is why the App Store lists Eki as Data Not Collected. Your habits, completions, notes, and the daily note stay private to you: they live on your devices and sync between them through your own private iCloud (Apple's encrypted CloudKit), where only you can reach them.
What we collect
Nothing. Eki has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party SDKs that transmit data. The developer operates no servers and never receives your information. Your data syncs only within your own private iCloud.
Where your data lives
Your habits, completions, notes, and settings are stored on your device and sync across your own devices (iPhone, Apple Watch, and Mac) through your private iCloud, using Apple's CloudKit private database. That data lives in your iCloud account, is encrypted by Apple, and is reachable only by you; the developer has no access to it. Standard iCloud or computer backups may also include the app's data under Apple's terms, controlled by you.
Apple Health
If you enable it, Eki reads the Health data types you approve (such as steps, sleep, or resting heart rate) solely to fill in your habit measurements automatically. Health data is read on device, never written back, and never transmitted to us or anyone else. You can revoke access at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Health.
On-device intelligence
The daily note and coaching insights are generated with Apple's on-device models. Your habit data is not sent to a cloud service to produce them.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. We do not operate push servers.
Your choices
- Export your data as JSON at any time from Settings.
- Delete everything at any time with Settings > Wipe everything, or by deleting the app.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated effective date.
